IT'S A BOY!!!!!

We went to the doctor for our 20 week appointment (or very close too) and had an ultrasound. Everything is going well, thankfully. We are still very nervous but grateful that it has progressed this far. It is definitely a boy! He was very active doing somersaults and back flips. He likes to wave at us too. It's like he knew he was on camera for us. He is a face toucher as well. He measured bigger than how far along I am so they moved the due date a few days. We are now due on March 18th. Jacey is very excited because she may get to share a birthday, if he comes that day.

Both grandma's were hoping for a little girl but are excited to have a grandson. Aunt Sydni is extremely excited and wants a picture so that she can take it to work to show everyone. She told us we should just have the baby in November so she could see it. It took a lot of convincing to get her to agree that that would not be a good idea. It will be interesting to see her interact with a baby. (In fact, I am a little nervous) Maybe she will prove us all wrong and be a great loving aunt. (For those that don't know Sydni is Ben's sister. She is handicapped and to explain it easily, she is like an 8 year old in a 30 year old body). We love her and she is always easy entertainment.

It's time to start thinking about how we want to decorate the room and which furniture to buy. We are thinking of doing blue and yellow as the colors and we found a furniture set we really liked last year that we hope is still available. It's all very exciting!

I would love it if you had him on my birthday, but the odds of that, I know, aren't great. Can't wait to have another little nephew (cuz Keegs won't be that little come March)

I think you should paint the room RED in honor of Ben's dad's name. Red is such a robust color--strong and proud and active, just like Austin. I love the idea of having another grandson--this one I get to spoil. Love you both!
