An Austin Funny

About a month ago I was feeding Spencer on the couch and Austin asked if he could have a snack. I told him that was fine and when I came back into the kitchen this is what I saw. He had gotten out the pistachios we got for Christmas from Aunt Shir and was cracking and eating them all by himself. When I asked if it was a good snack he said, "Yes, these are good peanuts."

Chocolate Donuts

This picture was taken a few months ago, but we think it is cute. It was the first time Spencer was given a chocolate donut. He loved it but made a mess all over.

Austin had to have his picture taken too. Although he is not as messy.

Happy 3rd Birthday Austin!

This was the cake that he chose. Harmon's did a good job, it looked great and we all thought it tasted yummy!
He insisted on having a party hat and wore it most of the day. It was kind of cute. Here he is opening Uncle Jon's present--- Toy Story 2 . It is to replace the one that got watched so much and got scratched. You can tell he loves Buzz and Woody.
This is him so excited for his Sand Box. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Jameson!

He got lots of clothes because he didn't have any shorts or short-sleeve shirts that fit anymore.

Spencer sitting in the castle sand box. He is pretty excited too.

Mr. Potato Head from Aunt Sydni. Another thing inspired from Toy Story.
He liked the shark bag from Grandma V. He is holding up Lion King, which is another movie that got all scratched. Now we have a locking cabinet for DVDs in hopes of preventing too many scratches.

A hooded towel from Aunt Nikki. Now he has one just like Spencer.
His guitar from Keegan, Nikki and Josh. He loves instruments, thanks to Little Einsteins. He really wanted a violin but we couldn't find one. He has been playing his guitar for 3 days straight now.

Grandpa Jameson being silly and wearing the birthday hat.
Aunt Jacey wearing it too, since it was her birthday 3 days ago.
Austin can't wait to have cake!
Waiting for Dad to light the candles.
Happy Birthday Austin! We love you!

Austin's Birthday Trip to Thanksgiving Point Dinosaur Museum Part 1

Inside the dinosaur cave. At first he was afraid to get in, but then he was running around like all the other kids.

There were lots of big bones to see.

The pictures aren't great because they look really dark but one of the stations had a place where you could build your own dinosaur by sticking pieces on to a velcro body. This is him sitting on his colorful dinosaur.

Another station had huge magnet bone pieces and you were supposed to put them together to create a dinosaur. Austin liked to mess up the ones that others had already put together.

Spencer and Daddy by the big T-Rex.
This was a fun corner where they put wooden dinosaur pieces into the correct shape hole.

Both boys really enjoyed finding the right holes to put the dinosaurs.

Spencer enjoying some of his freedom from the stroller and wandering around on his own.

Austin isn't even as big as T-Rex's foot. We had a great time and plan to go again soon. If anyone ever wants to come with us you can get in for half price.

Austin's Birthday Trip to Thanksgiving Point Dinosaur Museum Part 2

Austin wanted to see dinosaurs for his birthday so we decided to take advantage of his membership to Thanksgiving Point that Grandma Jameson gave him for Christmas. Ben took off work after lunch and we headed down.
This was one of his favorite things. He loved playing with the dinosaurs and sand in the water table.
Spencer loved it too. His favorite thing was splashing mom and dad.
There were only a few other kids at the table while we were there, which was good because our boys hoarded the dinosaurs. Thankfully, there were a ton of dinosaurs in there.

Don't you love the head tilt? It's his new thing to tilt his head and say cheese for a picture. He really liked riding the dinosaur.
Watch our Austin and Daddy the shark is going to eat you!!!

The last room of the museum was sand and bones. Both boys loved playing in the sand.

Spencer loved the feel of the sand.
One of the rooms was a Science in Motion exhibit on loan from the San Francisco Exploratorium. Austin loved playing with this huge spinning disc. He would put the pieces on and watch them slide off.

The head tilt again. What a silly boy!
Spencer didn't feel well and enjoyed most of the museum in the stroller but he was fascinated with the smoke machine.
