As part of our Christmas to each other Ben and I decided to set money aside for "date night" throughout the year. First big thing was the Brad Paisley Concert.
Scotty McCreery opened the show and sang a few songs from his new album and his "Idol" song.
Then The Band Perry came out and sang for a little while. They sounded good too.
The reason for the show name being changed from the Cowabunga tour to the Virtual Reality tour was Brad's clever use of laser lighting and strobe lights. He puts on an excellent show.
The pictures really don't give it justice with all the special effects. But it was amazing.
He liked coming out into the crowd and we were pretty close so we could see him well.
He brought The Band Perry out to sing with him for a song.
He even had Carrie Underwood there for their well known duet. Just kidding-- She was an optical illusion with a recording but you had to look really close to tell.
All of these graphics were laser light shows. Cool!

I totally forgot you went to this concert! Brad does a good show. I still think of all my country concerts the best was his with Chuck Wicks and Rodney Atkins!
