Our favorite place---The Zoo

We love our membership to the zoo. The boys love to be outside and love animals.

Spencie and Daddy on the train.

Since the zoo is adding a bear exhibit they are under construction in one part and we usually stop and look at the trucks for a minute. They have put in a sand pit with big scoops to dig like the big machines. We had to wait awhile for our turn but Austin liked to did in the sand pit.

The boys favorite thing at the zoo is the carousel (and the train). Austin is that smear on the elephant. We always have to find the elephant or the giraffe to sit on for the ride.

Hill Air Force Base

We decided for a fun outing we would drive to Layton to see airplanes. We were surprised that is was free and Austin had fun looking at all the planes and aircraft. Of course you have to stop at Garcia's for some yummy Mexican food for lunch.

He was very surprised that the wheels were bigger than he was. They were double his size.

"Let me sit in there and play with all the gadgets. This is cool!"

He liked to sit in every seat that he could get in to. He liked this pilot's seat.

Daddy and Austin standing by the helicopter. Austin just wanted to get down and sit in the pilot's seat again.

Daddy and Spencer in front of the "scary fighter plane with big teeth"

Mommy and Austin in front of the little helicopter.

Austin in the Tractor

Last summer the city replaced the sidewalks on our street. So we had to deal with noisy trucks and cement trucks up and down the street for a few weeks but Austin loved it. He would look out the window and watch them. One morning we were sitting on the front porch when they were working in front of our house and the guy working the bobcat said that Ben and Austin could sit in it. Austin was so excited. The construction guy even gave Ben the keys and said they could move the arm up and down and spin the cab around. Austin loved it and so did Ben.

Spencer's Haircut

Goodbye long dark hair. Each time Spencer gets a haircut his hair gets lighter. I would leave it if he didn't have 2 "cow licks"(as Austin would say) that make his hair stick straight up.

Dinosaur Park in Ogden

It was a very hot day but Austin loved walking around the Dinosaur Park. He walked the whole way, we thought he would get tired and want to be in the stroller but he was always on the lookout for another dinosaur.

Watch out Daddy and Austin the dinosaur is going to eat you!!!!

Climbing around in the fossil and sand bed. You can tell it's hot. Austin gets red rosy cheeks like his mom when he is hot.

"Mom can you see me in here?" They had these big signs everywhere and Austin had to stand in every hole.

In the dinosaur canyon/cave. This was the coolest place in the park (temperature wise).

Inside the museum. Austin really liked "the hairy rhino".

Bryce Canyon Viehweg Vacation

What a gorgeous canyon.

The 3 Grandsons. They keep everyone busy watching them, especially my 2 boys.

What a cute boy. He loves to be on vacation.

" Hold me tight Grandma"

Riding the horse with Jon in the Museum.

Tim Mcgraw

Not the greatest pictures but he is still handsome. Tim is my favorite and for my birthday we went to Idaho to see him (When he was coming to Utah we were going to be out of town, so Ben took me to Boise to see him) It was a fun quick trip. Grandma and Grandpa V took the boys and we met up with them in Bryce Canyon for a Viehweg Vacation the very next day.
