Birthday
Austin had an excellent birthday. Lots of people came to visit and there were lots of presents. Austin also got to tell everyone in his own way that he was going to be a big brother - Little Spencer will be coming to stay next October!
First Words
Austin decided to demonstrate his first words while visiting Great-Grandma and Grandpa Diamond down in Provo. But when he realized that Daddy was holding a very interesting object, talking was over. He can be quite focused and determined when he wants to be.
The Gift Shop
We, of course, ended up at the aquarium's gift shop, but there were no Austin-sized sharks for us to buy - just ugly little snakes. Austin got a kick out of them anyway.Austin at the Aquarium for His Birthday
Grandma and Grandpa V. came with us to the aquarium to celebrate his birthday. Austin's first exposure to fish was at Sea World in San Diego (see older posts) when he was three months old and he loved it then. He was even more into the fish this time around. It was especially fun with the grandparents.
