Grandpa and Fish

The Gift Shop

We, of course, ended up at the aquarium's gift shop, but there were no Austin-sized sharks for us to buy - just ugly little snakes. Austin got a kick out of them anyway.

Austin at the Aquarium for His Birthday

Grandma and Grandpa V. came with us to the aquarium to celebrate his birthday. Austin's first exposure to fish was at Sea World in San Diego (see older posts) when he was three months old and he loved it then. He was even more into the fish this time around. It was especially fun with the grandparents.

Cute Pics

Books and blocks: Two of Austin's most favorite things. Just add balloons and cars and that is Austin's world!

Wheelchair Videos

Not the best cinematography here, but they're still cute.

Austin Likes Rides

Austin has taken an interest in Great-Grandman's wheelchair, so his Grandpa Jameson took him for a rid around the house. Austin, in typical roller coaster ride fashion, keeps his hands half raised the whole time with a big grin on his face. Grandpa J. probably put in about a mile around the house before he got tired. Austin, on the other hand, was probably good for several more miles.

Dakota and mashed potatoes

So I left some fake mashed potatoes out on the counter for a minute and when I came back, this is what I saw. Lately, Dakota has taken a renewed interest in a couple of human foods that I thought he had given up: fake potatoes and Cheetos. What we really need is for him to eat the things Austin drops from his highchair, but no such luck.
